2016 is off to a great start and we have many exciting events coming…please see below, mark your calendars, and RSVP accordingly!
Ministers’ Wives Fellowship is at 6pm at Calvary Baptist Church. If you have any questions, you may contact Lydia Greear at 904.540.9060 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Next month, Billy Young, Lead Catalyst for Next Generation Ministries, is hosting two Youth Minister Network Luncheons. These lunches will feature Dr. Alvin Reid, Professor of Evangelism and Student Ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Here, you will find a flyer promoting these events. We are sending this email to the Associations near the vicinity of the location of these luncheons in hopes that you will help us promote this time of teaching and networking with fellow church leaders.

Associational Council Meeting, 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church Pomona Park. Each church should be represented. The Council meets in February and August prior to the Semi-Annual and Annual Meetings to conduct any business necessary in preparation for the April and October meetings.
SJRBA Deacon Training, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at
Hillcrest Baptist Church, Palatka.
The guest speaker for this event is Dr. Karl Babb,
longtime pastor, missionary and Kentucky Baptist
Convention staffer. Retiring after 43 years of ministry,
he and his wife have relocated to Orange Park, Florida.
This training is for ALL deacons, old and new, and it is FREE.
There will also be a meeting for Deacon's wives facilitated by Mrs. Lydia Greear.
Pastors, please make sure your deacons (and their wives) know about this training and encourage them to attend!

The Tabernacle of Moses (life-size replica) is coming to Tabernacle Baptist Church in Palatka. Witness 3,500 years of Biblical history as you walk through the Old Testament structure where every detail speaks of God’s redemptive plan as fulfilled through the atoning sacrifice of Christ. Tour times are at the top of each hour (10:00, 11:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00) and a torch-light tour at 7:00 by reservation only. Grief Share support group has begun
Grief Share is a special weekly support group for
people grieving the death of someone close.
It’s a place where you can be around people who
understand how you feel and the pain of your loss.
At Grief Share, you will learn valuable information that
will help you through this difficult time in your life.
Grief Share will meet every Monday at
1650 A1A South
Groups meet for 8 weeks
beginning January 18 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM
in CLC Room 208.
