Pastoral Care Line launched by NAMB and Focus on the Family

“Pastors struggling through personal or professional issues now have a confidential place to turn, thanks to a new initiative by the North American Mission Board. A Focus on the Family pastor care line is available exclusively for Southern Baptist pastors by calling 844-PASTOR1. The line is completely confidential and is available 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET. The line is open to all SBC ministers, chaplains, missionaries and their spouses.” (Source: NAMB)

This year’s Senior Adult Celebration of Praise is designed to build bridges between
all generations and allow senior adults an opportunity to feel welcome in today’s culture of worship.
This event is not just a clinic for senior adult choirs … it is a celebration of praise.
It is an intentional attempt to bring all people 55 and above together to experience a generationally
neutral celebration of praise led by Ray Jones, from Community Bible Church in San Antonio, Texas.
Ray has a passion to see the church unify through multi-generational worship experiences.
He also believes that Senior Adults have the opportunity to mentor the next generation of worshipers.
Everyone who attends will have an opportunity to learn songs and ways of worshiping God
that will breed unity in any worship context.
In addition, our special guest artists are Dave & Kirsten Hart from Branson, Missouri.
You will be encouraged and inspired as they take us on a journey through music & worship from
the hymns of Fanny Crosby, through the 70’s CCM hits, to today’s songs of worship and praise.
Here are the details for the event:
Date: Tuesday, March 17th
8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Location: FBC Brandon
Cost: $15 per person
Registration Form: Registration (click here)
If you are a worship leader in your church, and you have influence over senior adults;
I pray you will pass this information on to as many as you possibly can.
If you have ever encountered difficulty or challenges in moving senior adults forward in music and worship,
this event is for you and your senior adults.
If you or one of your staff are responsible for senior adult ministry or senior adult choirs, this event is for you.
PLEASE help us encourage today’s senior adults to build bridges and mentor the next generation of worshipers.
I hope to see you in Brandon!
